With its high cliffs of volcanic origin and its gray sand, this Cap d'Agde beach is the most original and offers a wild setting for a beach near the town centre. Access is via stairs dug into the cliff (see last photo).
Even if it is sought after, you generally manage to find a place to put your towel even in the middle of summer (about 200 meters in length).
The easiest way to access this beach is to park in the Fortin car park then follow the path along the seaside (5 minutes walk). The beach is indicated by signs.
Cliff Beach
Rue des Falaises 34300 Cap d'Agde
Falaises Beach in Cap d'Agde is located between Mole Beach and Grande Conque at the start of the cliff area.
This sand and gravel beach is less crowded than the large beaches of Cap d'Agde. There is a less touristy environment with the presence of black rocks of volcanic origin and cliffs on the left. You can also have an overall view of the coast of Cap d'Agde from there, original because of the presence of cliffs (rare in the department of Hérault). Access is via a few stairs on the left side. There is parking nearby

Naturist Beach
Rue des Nereides 34300 Agde
Cap d'Agde's naturist beach stretches north of the resort around Port Ambonne on the edge of Marseillan-Plage.
Located in a 100% naturist area, this long sandy beach stretches for about 1 km. Along the beach, there are many apartments, small residences and several campsites. This beach has a lifeguard station (open in summer) and is equipped for people with reduced mobility. In summer, there are also several huts with restaurants and mattress rentals. Access is via the naturist camp for non-residents (paying). Attendance not always family ... the notion of "Naturism" on this beach does not always correspond to the norm ...
Access is at the Ambonne port. Access can also be via Marseillan via Rieu beach (route de Sète, then chemin Payrollet and avenue des campings). This avoids paying the right of access to the naturist camp (you have to walk about 600 meters but the first area at Bagnas beach is already naturist).
